New Year's Day 2010. The old Bandit is still running but has developed an engine knock with just shy of 75k on the clock. This is only the 3rd time I've had the tank off this bike.

So far the only difference in the connections has been in the neutral switches: 2006 Katana left, 2000 Bandit right.

I transferred the center spring and contact pin from the old motor to the new one and used the original neutral switch
I took care to remove the igniter box and then welded broken tail section

Throttle cable connection points are different on the new Mikuni carbs. The 1200 Bandit cable fits perfectly.
